The coal oil lamp belonged to my great grandma Daniels. I remember when she used to heat her curling iron in it; the pipe, to great Grandpa. The civil war era portrait is of great Granddad’s father, Surgeon, Jared Waldo Daniels. And the little shot glass is courtesy of Fairchild's Pharmacy in Placerville. And yes, I have used it in on occasion, for strictly medicinal purposes!
