We're fast approaching July 4th, 2024. I want you to take a moment and imagine something. I want you to imagine looking back on the summer of 2024 as the good, old days, back before a convicted felon reclaimed the Whitehouse and a rogue supreme court turned our communities into armed camps brutalized by martial law and revoked your freedom to marry whom you choose, reproduce or not as you choose, and worship or not as you choose. I want you to remember a time when all Americans supported America's institutions and a government of the people, by the people, and for the people, and when free elections were backed by all branches of that government and participated in by every citizen without fear of retribution. I want you to remember a day when a free press and legitimate media could still be depended upon to uphold truth, justice, and the American way. I want you to imagine longing for those days before swastikas and confederate flags were flown in our Independence Day parades, and when Old Glory still waved proudly over the land of the free and the home of the brave, and when people of every conceivable color, creed, and faith celebrated July 4th peacefully together as one people, in one nation, under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.
