Some will suggest to you that weapons of mass destruction only constitute a threat to the general public when in the hands of a disturbed individual. I suggest to you that anyone who advocates the availably of weapons of mass destruction to the general public is a disturbed individual.

Almost every problem in this country and the world can be traced back to want, fear, misinformation, and hatred, and those who weaponize them in their pursuit of power and financial gain. The answer is civil discussion and education.

Yesterday’s crazies have always yapped at the heels of tomorrow. Time is impervious to crazies. Tomorrow comes anyway. SC

MY MISSION STATEMENT AS A PERSON OF FAITH AND REASON

Here is my mission statement: I am a person of faith and reason. As a person of faith, I believe in doing justly, loving mercy, and walking humbly with my God. As a proud American and a person of reason, I passionately support America’s principles of liberty and justice for all. I support freedom and the right of every individual to make personal choices for their family. And I believe a strong Federal government is essential in order to defend those freedoms in all fifty states. While I support freedom of speech and civil discourse, I believe any attempt at insurrection, insurgency, or disruption of our democratic process should be put down immediately and decisively and that the perpetrators should be silenced and punished to the full extent of the law.  SC
